Make money PLAYING games

Today I wanna talk about all the ways YOU, the player can make money by playing videogames.

For the record, let's get these points straight:

The amount of money is not enough to pay the rent, it's more like pocket money

You can still have fun doing this

You do not need to make videos of any sorts like the other guides tell you

You need an Internet  connection to do this

This is an actual way to make dollars or pounds or euros. Not video game currency!!


These following multiplayer games allow you to make money that you can even transfer to paypal:

World of Warcraft

Runescape
 
Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2/ Counter Strike: Global Offensive


World of Warcraft and Runescape

Both games follow the same principle: Sell your in-game currency or account for real money. For this to happen you need to have played either games for quite some time.

Pluses:
1.If you are a high level you can acquire currency weekly. In  WOW you can go on raids and get rare items or a lot of currency (I have never played it, but I think this is the way), on Runescape pvp allows you to pick up amazing items or do quests...whatever works.

2. As the general rule WoW and Runescape accounts go really amazing amounts of money. There was a 5000 dollar bid for a professional account at one time.

















Minuses:
1. The developers are not particularly happy about real world trades, and they do not support it in any way.

2. You need to pay monthly subscriptions to the game developers.

3. Without the support of the developers you are more open to scams. Either find a really good trading website or be very luck to find a good person to trade with

4. You need to have more or less no life.


Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2/ Counter Strike: Global Offensive


This is the method I will talk about a bit more, as I am doing this right now.

After you decided to activate any of these 3 games on Steam you will start a world of fun gameplay and trading at some point.

You can either trade items with other players directly via Steam or you can even sell certain (not all of them!!) on the steam market.



















That money you make is transferred to your steam account and you can use it to buy new video games

Notice! This money cannot be transferred out of your steam account!
If you want to make physical money you need to sell the items by finding a buyer and asking for a pay-pal transfer. Just like the Runescape/WoW method.


Wait for great deals if you decide to buy games!

Some of my trades. Made 20 cents just by selling crates that I did not need.

 

Pluses: 
1. Great control over your items and money. Scamming is almost impossible except using paypal.
2. Sell and buy the items you want in a matter of hours
3. By trading right you can make many euros or dollars just by finding the right person to trade with

Minuses:
1. The steam market is not linked with paypal ar bank account for obvious reasons. Your money in the steam account stays there.
