 Now I will get into the detail on how you can make real money with Team Fortress 2 

1st rule: It's easy, it just takes time.

The recipe you see down below is the formula that creates one of the many currency in Team fortress 2. Metal
You will obtain the 3 stages of metal through smelting weapons that you get as a drop after playing a certain amount of time.

Smelt Class Weapons	Any 2 weapons wielded by the same class	1 ×	+ →	2
Combine Scrap Metal	3 ×	1 ×	+ + →	6
Combine Reclaimed Metal	3 ×	1 ×	+ + →	18

 With the refined metal you are free to trade hats, weapons, keys and so on. Because of their massive numbers don't expect to be a big influence yet. They are not worth a lot of money. In fact a refined metal costs 40 cents.

It's after you start seeing hat drops or start exchanging items for a better value you can start thinking big. But hey, if you like the game and you learn to barter you can easily start buying lower and selling higher just like the stock exchange.



I myself loved and still love the game and I see the valuable items as a good reward and I seek to accumulate more hats as I play further.

But at any given minute I could cash in the items that I've got. That's how you can make money.

 The transactions I recently partook in. 20 cents just for some boxes that work like the roulette system. It's literally roulette. 1 euro 60 for a key that either unlocks an item worth less then 10 cents or gives you an item so rare you can sell it easily for 100 bucks.

Spiral knights, Dota 2, Counter Strike GO have all active inventories. Trade from one game to another and get yourself the items that can be sold on the steam market

If you want money you can cash out then paypal is where you need to go, as your steam account funds cannot be withdrawed unfortunately. There is no problem to trade with paypal, you are just at a certain risk being scammed. There are a lot of scumbags out there so you need to watch out for that.

Today I wanna talk about all the ways YOU, the player can make money by playing videogames.

For the record, let's get these points straight:

The amount of money is not enough to pay the rent, it's more like pocket money

You can still have fun doing this

You do not need to make videos of any sorts like the other guides tell you

You need an Internet  connection to do this

This is an actual way to make dollars or pounds or euros. Not video game currency!!


These following multiplayer games allow you to make money that you can even transfer to paypal:

World of Warcraft

Runescape
 
Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2/ Counter Strike: Global Offensive


World of Warcraft and Runescape

Both games follow the same principle: Sell your in-game currency or account for real money. For this to happen you need to have played either games for quite some time.

Pluses:
1.If you are a high level you can acquire currency weekly. In  WOW you can go on raids and get rare items or a lot of currency (I have never played it, but I think this is the way), on Runescape pvp allows you to pick up amazing items or do quests...whatever works.

2. As the general rule WoW and Runescape accounts go really amazing amounts of money. There was a 5000 dollar bid for a professional account at one time.

















Minuses:
1. The developers are not particularly happy about real world trades, and they do not support it in any way.

2. You need to pay monthly subscriptions to the game developers.

3. Without the support of the developers you are more open to scams. Either find a really good trading website or be very luck to find a good person to trade with

4. You need to have more or less no life.


Team Fortress 2/ Dota 2/ Counter Strike: Global Offensive


This is the method I will talk about a bit more, as I am doing this right now.

After you decided to activate any of these 3 games on Steam you will start a world of fun gameplay and trading at some point.

You can either trade items with other players directly via Steam or you can even sell certain (not all of them!!) on the steam market.



















That money you make is transferred to your steam account and you can use it to buy new video games

Notice! This money cannot be transferred out of your steam account!
If you want to make physical money you need to sell the items by finding a buyer and asking for a pay-pal transfer. Just like the Runescape/WoW method.


Wait for great deals if you decide to buy games!

Some of my trades. Made 20 cents just by selling crates that I did not need.

 

Pluses: 
1. Great control over your items and money. Scamming is almost impossible except using paypal.
2. Sell and buy the items you want in a matter of hours
3. By trading right you can make many euros or dollars just by finding the right person to trade with

Minuses:
1. The steam market is not linked with paypal ar bank account for obvious reasons. Your money in the steam account stays there.
